Located at the entracnce of the 120-meter-wide-and-16-lanes Yudong Avenue, the gateway of Guangxi, it will only take 15 minutes to travel from our Industrial Park to the Nanning Area of China (Guangxi) Pilot Free Trade Zone (CFTZ), Nanning Wuxu International Airport and Wuxiang Railway Station (under construction). Our Park is, thus, strategically located at the heart of the new, booming economic district of Nanning, Guangxi.
Our Industrial Park is right at the Yudong Station of Nanning Metro Line 2 and upcoming Airport Line, and of Nanning Bus Rail Transit (NBRT) Line 2. The two metro lines severally reach Nanning Railway Station, Nanning Railway East Station, Wuxiang Railway Station (under construction) and Nanning Wuxu Internatinoal Airport. The NBRT links us up with the Nanning Area of the CFTZ. This transport network conveniences your travel in and out of town.
As of 2019, the Yudong Jiedao area, where Our Park is situated, has a population of 67,000. This high population density provides a solid ground for recruitment of staff. For staff living afar, they can save their commute time with the railway network. Besides, around our Industrial Park, there are many new residential complexes, which can provide suitable accommodation for staff and allow them to maintain a good work-life balance by living outside of the Park.
Ceremony Inaugurating the Industrial Park Project
THE SUN Industrial Park is a large-scale industrial construction project under THE SUN (Nanning) Electronics Co. Ltd. ("THE SUN"). Currently, 51,000sqm has been utilised for facility construction, and 13,218sqm is being under construction. The actual financial committment amounts to RMB 50,000,000 (circa. USD 7,700,000).
Actively responding to the governmental initiative in 2008, THE SUN utilised its existing resources and began to turn its focus to standard factory facilities construction. Under the support of the local government and the Economic Zone Committee, this project was approved in April 2008. Initial investment amounted to RMB 95,000,000 (circa. USD 15,000,000) and amount of land committed was 60,000sqm. The project began in May 2009.
Before moving into facilities construction, seizeing the opportunity of China's "Open Door Policy" in the 80s, THE SUN was the first foreign investing entity in Nanning and has built its operation in electronics manufacturing, together with a local partner.As its manufacturing function grew, it bought its own land and established THE SUN (Nanning) Electronics Co. Ltd. It used to own more than 200 heavy machines, hired more than 100,000 workers, and its products were exported only to Japan, Europe and the Unitied States.
